Print with a Samsung SCX-4200 on Windows 11 ARM
The Samsung SCX-4200 is not supported on Windows 11 ARM. This free community app restores basic printing over USB.
What works
Print A4 documents in black and white from normal Windows applications. The app starts at sign-in and runs in the background after setup. The current preview prints at 300 dpi, on one side of the paper, with one copy per print job.
Limitations
Scanning, double-sided printing, printing at 600 dpi and sharing the printer over a network are not supported by this preview. The computer needs to stay awake while printing.
Installation
Read the guide, download the ARM64 ZIP and extract it. Connect the printer, then follow the guide to run INSTALL.cmd as the usual Windows user. Print a short document and keep the extracted folder. The package is unsigned; use the project’s guidance if Windows or workplace policy blocks it.
Help with downloads and setup explains download choices, security warnings and recovery planning.
Testing and feedback
The developer reports ordinary household use of preview 0.12.1 on 18 October 2026 with a Samsung SCX-4200 connected by USB to a Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge running Windows 11 ARM64. Earlier preview checks covered multiple pages and printing after restarting the laptop. The exact Windows build was not recorded. This household use relied on an existing working printer queue; creating and removing a fresh queue have not yet been physically tested.
